Yay! for the Simple Plan concert here in Manila, Philippines, but I won’t talk about that here, instead, the modus operandi of this guy from the venue.

He works at Araneta as ticket inspector? I don’t know basta the one who’ll check your tickets before you enter the venue. Last tuesday, I bought two tickets at SM North for the said concert; two tickets with two consecutive control numbers. So here it goes, six and a half hours ago, my sister and I, together with her friend, entered the venue (General Admissions Section), I let my sister’s friend to enter first, she handed her own ticket, I noticed nga this personnel’s unusual movements, like he was holding two or three torn tickets when he received my sister’s friend’s ticket, I know he was hiding something. I was super duper keen talaga that time, so when I handed him our (mine and my sister’s) tickets, I looked closely what he’s doing why he rips the tickets that way, like he rips them when nobody’s looking and when somebody does, he tears them keeping them from the owners. When I received the torn tickets I noticed that the other one was not mine, then I got back to him telling that that wasn’t my ticket, he told me it’s okay since it’s both gen ad tickets naman daw, but I insisted to have my ticket back, he went back to his station and looked for my ticket, since I have the other one, he knew what control number to look for. While looking for it, he was trying to hide things from his small cabinet, then I saw my ticket together with few other “whole?” tickets, then that was the only time he did tear it.

I think the modus here is that he holds 2-3 torn passes when he receives tickets from the concert-goers, but he won’t cut them and hand the torn passes instead to the people; the “whole” tickets are kept in that small cabinet of his.

Maybe he’ll sell them to whoever wishes to watch the concert at a lower price. He’s making a living too ha? Nakakainis kasi he’s taking advantage of people who paid for the event.
